Sketchy Sunday

Hello, this is Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion, and
I will be sharing a sketch I found at one of my favorite
Former magazine: Creating Keepsakes.

This is a Sketch taken from a free sketches download file from back in 2012, but which is still one of my favorites because it uses mostly 4x6 photos.

I used to love their Simple Scrapbooking magazine and their sketches and was very sad when they closed it. The same with the Creative Keepsakes magazine.
I still use their sketches and follow their blog: http://www.creatingkeepsakesblog.com/

I hope you enjoy this sketch and would share your creation with us.

And Say hi.

And please don't forget this month's fun challenge!!

It had to do with my nephew, and with that being said, this weeks freebies will be all about boys!

I found this one on pinterest and I'm not really sure who's it is...You do have to know how to trace the image to use it but I thought this dino was too cute!

Birthday Card

Dear scrappers,

This is Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion and
today is my day to post with Connie Can Crop.

I had bought this fun Doodle Bug design paper awhile ago from this month's challenge sponsor. Even though they are not fall colors related, I decided to finally use them to create a birthday card.

I used some of this month's wonderful sponsor's papers and brad:

Scrap & Craft, products: The glitter brad and these papers:

I also used some CTMH stamps and premade card-base and envelope, which color coordinate nicely with these papers. The inks I used for the stamping:

Stop by my blog tomorrow to get more details of this card and some challenges where I am posting it.
Thank you for visiting me today.

And please don't forget this month's fun challenge!!

Hello, this is Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion, and
I will be sharing a sketch I found at one of my favorite
challenge pages: Scrap our stash

This is a Sketch by Sketch Artist Juliana Michaels

I used this sketch as inspiration for a display shadow case I made for a silent auction for my children's major fundraising event tomorrow. More details and a picture of my project to be found at my blog page. I ended up using a different sketch completely but I did use this part as inspiration: "must use at least (3) different type of school supplies on your layout". - See more at: http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com/2015/09/sketch-challenge-30-with-guest-sketch.html#sthash.F6PSK2AF.dpuf

This card had the perfect sentiment for this hop. I just love it.

2 cuts on the explore is all it took for this lovely card. Of course I embellished it up.

I added silver washi tape to the front, some teal enamel dots (homemade by me) for eye appeal. and some gorgeous flowers on the front. It really made this card come to life!
Wishing you a peaceful day!

Die Cuttin Diva Guest DT

How exciting that I was asked to come back and be a
Guest DT member for Die Cuttin Divas
I sure do miss those gals!

The newest challenge on the Die Cuttin Divas Blog is to use a pun.
These new stamps I got are perfect!! Just remember to use a diecut!

My die cuts are the white and yellow circles. I cut them on my explore.
I also cut the black scalloped circle with it.

I even added an action wobble so my bee could really fly!!

My favorite part of this card is the cool hexagon background stamp.
It looks just like a honeycomb!

Had to add some pun fun to the inside too! And a few cute bumble bees!

Supplies Used:
Close to my Heart Pattern Paper
Close to my Heart ink in Black and Honey
Stamps of Life Stamps and background stamp
Washi tape
Cardstock
Button and floss
Action Wobble
